I’m a third generation date farmer and the culinary creative behind Daties, a modern snack brand rooted in our family's 1957 legacy. Raised among rows of date palms, I grew up with a deep love for food, farming, and turning awkward date jokes into delicious snacks — it's cheaper than therapy!
Blending heritage with bold flavors, playful branding, and a mission to make dates exciting for a new generation of snack lovers. If I'm not in the kitchen playing mad scientist with dates, I'm out making executive decisions in farm boots. I am passionate about showing the world that dates can be just as cool as they are nutritious.

Hi, I’m Val – Head of Marketing & Chief Date Enthusiast
As Head of Marketing, I get to share the story of our family-run date farm—one sweet post, package, and campaign at a time. It’s a role that combines my love for creativity, storytelling, and of course, dates (the fruit… but I like the romantic kind too).
Rooted in generations of hard work and heart, our farm is more than just a business—it’s part of who I am. I’m proud to help grow something meaningful with my family, while bringing a fresh, fun spin to a timeless tradition.
Outside of the farm, I’m usually chasing new flavors, collecting passport stamps, or daydreaming about my next travel itinerary over a plate of something delicious. I believe good food, good people, and a bit of humor make everything better—especially when paired with a really great date.

Dates hold a sweet spot in our hearts. Since 1957 Date farming has been a family legacy on both sides of our family. Our grandparents thrived as date farmers, and that passion followed through our parents. The Date didn’t fall far from the Palm, as my sister and I are continuing the tradition with Daties. Our love for food and farming will continue to be shared with the world. We are excited to sweeten your life with the best hand picked dates!
